The shutout was the seventh of the season for goalkeeper Travis Frazier.
Other goal scorers for the Vikings were McLean, Padraig Gibbons and Todd Gingerich. Also contributing assists were Chris Wylie and Jordan Mebane.
In another conference match last Wednesday, a goal by Brendan Gibbons off a pass from McLean with 2:56 remaining in the second overtime allowed the Vikings to escape with a 2-1 victory at South Johnston.
The Vikings took 41 shots to six for their opponent in winning their second overtime contest in conference play last week. They defeated Triton 3-2 on Monday.
Goalkeeper Frazier was credited with the assist on the first Viking goal about midway through the first half. The sophomore’s free kick from his end of the field was run onto by Hadlock, who flicked the ball over the head of the Trojan goalkeeper.
The Trojans (2-4, 2-8) tied the match just before halftime on a goal by Bradley Bird.
With the wins, the Vikings’ record improved to 5-1-1 in the conference and 9-1-1 overall with the two wins.
The next match for the Vikings is at home on Thursday at 7 p.m. against Overhills.
