As part of a community effort, they are reaching out to provide classroom support as the school year begins.

The goal is to assist two teachers at each of the sponsored schools to receive needed items to stock classroom cupboards.

The sponsored schools are Union Pines, New Century, Carthage Elementary, Farm Life and Vass-Lakeview.

During September, Curves-Carthage and Time Out Spa will offer “S.O.S.” discounts to new members or patrons who will bring in basic school supplies such as pens, pencils, notebook paper, markers, paper toweling, tissues, etc. These supplies will be donated, through drawings, to teachers at the sponsored schools.

In addition, women teachers who participate in the S.O.S. program will receive special considerations and savings at Curves-Carthage and Time Out Spa for Women.
