The Mustangs picked up two wins, winning at Thomasville 5-2 Tuesday in a match shortened by rain and defeating South Davidson 9-0 at South Davidson Wednesday. Both wins were Yadkin Valley Conference encounters and improved the Mustangs’ conference mark to 3-4.
Mollie Richardson and Sandy Boles picked up singles wins in both matches, and combined to win at No. 1 doubles in both matches. Their doubles’ match was the only one played in the contest with Thomasville because of the rain.
