I very seldom send in a reply to various articles in The Pilot, but this time I got somewhat aggravated at the cartoon by Stan Hunt on Sept. 10. I’ve noticed other people have complained about them.

I served not only one year away from home at Christmas but three. The commander-in-chief at that time I did not approve of, but I still served with pride. Fortunately, we had cartoonists who help build our morale rather than lower it.

About your columnist Lynn Rhoades, I believe the only ones who really appreciate her columns are terrorists or people who hate our country and the president.
