Community Presbyterian Church, Pinehurst, will hold its second annual Pastoral Care Seminar: “Is Religion Good for Your Health?” on Sunday, Sept. 7, from 6 to 9:15 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

Whole-person healthcare and the historical connection between religion/spirituality and healthcare will be the topic of the seminar. Dr. Harold G. Koenig will be the facilitator. Koenig is director of Duke University’s Center for the Study of Religion/Spirituality and Health. He is also associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and associate professor of medicine at Duke University Medical Center. This seminar is free and open to the public. CEU’s (.3) will be available for a processing fee of $10. Registration is suggested.
