At High Point Central, the girls recorded a perfect 15 score to their opponents 46 points. In the race at Southeast Guilford, the girls lost by a 26-31 score. They defeated Ragsdale 27-30.
At High Point Central, the boys picked up a 22-36 win, while at Southeast Guilford they posted a 26-31 win. Against Ragsdale, the final score was 15-43.
Tiffany Justice has been the top finisher for the Vikings in every meet. She ran a time of 21 minutes, 57 seconds in finishing first overall in the High Point Central meet. Against Southeast Guilford, she ran a time of 23:06 in finishing second overall. Against Ragsdale she also finished second overall with a time of 23:07.
For the boys, Clint Rogers has finished as the top Viking runner twice and Keith Chriscoe finished as the top Viking once. Rogers finished second overall against Central in a time of 18:01. He also finished second overall against Southeast in a time of 18:47. Chriscoe finished sixth overall against Ragsdale with a time of 19:17. Rogers was one second behind him in seventh place (19:18).
Rogers, Chriscoe and Joey Frye have been the top finishers for the Vikings in all three meets. Other strong runners for the Vikes have been Russell Papineau and newcomers Brandon Dibianca and Bret Norberry, both sophomores.
For the girls, Justice has been joined by freshman Dominque Andrews, Jane Taylor, Tori Cheek and Kristina Landrieu in strong performances.
In the perfect performance against High Point Central, Justice was followed by Andrews in second with a time of 22:31, Taylor in third with a time of 22:40, Cheek in fourth with a time of 23:12 and Landrieu in fifth with a time of 24:45.
