O’Neal Gets Two More Soccer Wins
O’Neal picked up two convincing wins in boys’ soccer last week in keeping its undefeated mark intact.
The Falcons knocked off Abundant Life 9-0 Thursday after starting their week with a 6-0 win over Oak Ridge Military Academy Tuesday. O’Neal is now 8-0-1 overall.
Three players had two goals each for the Falcons in the win over Abundant Life. Randy Quis, Hudson Shelby and John Justice had two goals each, while Zach Beemer, Leighton Schwob and Nat Coats had single goals.
Beemer handed out three assists while Coats, Mario Stratta, Matthew Williams and James Shields had one assist each.
Against Oak Ridge, the Falcons took a 5-0 halftime lead on the way to the 6-0 win. Quis, Beemer, Stratta, Doughton Horton, Victor DeMarco and Justin Carr provided the Falcon goals, while DeMarco with two and Beemer with one had the assists.
The Falcons are in first place in the Triad 1-A Conference for independent schools.
