What a lucky lady I am! While shopping at Pinecrest Plaza on one recent morning, I unknowingly dropped my credit card in the parking lot.

That afternoon about 4 p.m. I learned that the Aberdeen Police Department had my credit card — I hadn’t even missed it. I subsequently learned that some honest soul had turned the card in to a waitress at Mac’s Restaurant that day, and restaurant owner David Whitley had later taken it to the Aberdeen Police Department.

The finder, the waitress and the restaurant owner responded so admirably, and I am extremely grateful to have my credit intact. God bless you all.
