Regarding The Pilot’s article “Holden Blasts Colleagues, Manager,” I applaud County Commissioner Michael Holden for the courage of his convictions, spoken with candor without a concern for political correctness.

At a time when politicians are redefining the English language to suit their personal transgressions and shortcomings, it’s refreshing to hear an elected official assess the problems of our county with such frankness. Perhaps others can learn from his example.
