Keep Conserving Water

Although much-needed rain has arrived, let us not forget the need to conserve, conserve and conserve water.

It is far better to anticipate and prevent water shortages than to react to them. The current drought did not suddenly emerge, and it will not suddenly go away.

I am a reformed water waster who has gotten the message. I have relearned how to shower, shave and brush my teeth, along with other water-saving measures.

There has been no loss of comfort or health. There has been, and continues to be, a significant saving of water, a sense of satisfaction and a saving of money, too.

Let’s all keep up the good work.
