A Balanced Mideast Policy

Most would agree that we must continue to support Israel as our ally.

However, many would like Israel to stop acting like a spoiled brat. Israel knows she has a powerful friend, so she doesn’t always follow all the mandates that have been set down.

We need to have a much more even-handed approach to the Middle East and not one that’s prescribed by The New York Times.

It would also be better if Israel didn’t mess in our internal affairs such as they did in spying on us or pressuring President Clinton to grant clemency to Marc Rich.

The Israelis have experienced terrorism, but that doesn’t mean the United States should adopt their expertise in shooting down unarmed planes, blowing up hotels or having organizations like the Irgun and Stern gang.
