This is written to encourage all voters to vote for the higher education bond issue in the election this fall. Sandhills Community College and Moore County residents would benefit tremendously from passage of this bond package.

Most of us have been beneficiaries of the excellent health care available in Moore, which is enhanced by the health occupations taught at the Sandhills Community College. Without the nurses and technicians educated at Sandhills, FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital and physicians would be handicapped in providing the complete services that are rendered.

I encourage everyone to vote Nov. 7 and vote for the higher education bond issue.
