This letter is to congratulate the work of the Moore County Board of Elections and the efforts of Glenda Clendenin, elections director and her excellent staff.

We used the “no excuses” early voting procedure for this year’s election. The Board of Elections staff handled our voting in an efficient, informative and instructive way. The entire process took minutes and allowed us to complete this fundamental citizen duty quickly.

There can be no greater mission of an elections board than to make voting as convenient and pleasant as possible, ensuring the maximum possible participation in the most important decisions that the citizen can make in a democracy.

Moore County has a Board of Elections, an elections director and an elections staff of which the citizens can be proud.
