First Hole-in-One

I recently had my first hole-in-one at Pinehurst. I’ve been playing for about 20 years. (I had my 55th birthday last month).

I’ve been here only three months. I moved here from California, and I love it, especially now.

I joined a group of members who play every Friday. We were on Course No. 4, the par-3 12th hole, 164 yards. I used an 8-iron. I didn’t hit it off any rocks or trees. I must say it was a pretty shot.

Then I proceeded to birdie the tough par-5 13th. Not a bad day for the third play on No. 4.
