Now They Know

I had just returned from a trip to Williamsburg, Va. when I read Stephen Smith’s article “Our Founding Fathers Made a Mistake, and Guns Are Everywhere.” I am neither a professor of history nor English. However, I am satisfied about a couple of things.

If there had not been any guns available, there would not be any founding fathers. Also, if children are taught properly they will not purchase an assault weapon or any other type weapon without their parents’ permission.

Better put a good lock on your house and closet Stephen, a Lefever shotgun is much more valuable than an assault rifle, and you have told the things where to find one.

Be a gambler, Stephen. Give yours up. Maybe everyone else will follow your example.
