Shame on you! The March 7 front-page article on Michael Jordan (including mug shot) regarding his unpaid property taxes is exploitative, sensational, abusive media crap.

There were over 10,000 people in Moore County whose property taxes were not paid on time and who did not get a front-page feature in The Pilot. Why pick on Jordan? It is an invasion of his privacy, and an insult to your readership’s intelligence. Even more important, it’s an indignity to one of our native North Carolinians. Why would Mr. Jordan want to live in this community?

Has The Pilot stooped to a new low to sell papers? If so, I’m not buying.
