Do we have a Northeastern senator among us? The Pilot quotes Sen. John Edwards as he comments to the News & Observer of Raleigh about the nomination of John Ashcroft for attorney general.

Sen. Edwards said, “I’m concerned about whether his views fall to the extreme.” He adds, “I think there are a lot of questions to be asked.”

Maybe in Hillary’s state people who go to church are to be suspected, but we like to think our senators are church-going people also.

Will Sen. Edwards vote to confirm Ashcroft, or will he vote Al Gore and Edward Kennedy’s agenda?
