On behalf of myself, our Board of Directors, staff and residents (past and present), I would like to express our grateful appreciation for The Pilot’s recent feature story on the Bethany House.

Since 1988 our survival has depended greatly on the generosity of others, be it through monetary contributions, donations of clothing or furniture, or simply giving of their time. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women rebuild their lives and I’m sure your feature helped raise public awareness to our existence and our cause.

One point we forgot to mention is that we are currently seeking contributions to help replace the van we use to transport our residents to work, meetings and other necessary destinations.
