A native of Hickory, Fletcher earned a degree in business administration from Catawba Valley Community College.

Fletcher brings 10 years of financial experience to National. Previously, she was controller with a packaging distribution company in Hickory, where she was instrumental in its launch.

She and her husband, Gregg, moved to the area two years ago. She is active in her church, Our Savior Lutheran Church, and serves on its congregation council.

As general manager, Fletcher will strive to make National Golf Club the best country club in the county. In addition to her strong financial background and behind-the-scenes work, Fletcher will work closely with Mary Smithson, National’s membership and marketing director, in the Club’s marketing efforts.

“While growth is my primary focus, we want to further develop the sense of community we already have at National,” Fletcher said. “We want both members and guests to feel at home here.”

“Vickie is a strong leader who doesn’t rest until she achieves her goals,” said National CEO Kenneth Robinette. “We have many exciting things happening, like The Cottages at National and Mitchell’s at National. Vickie will be heavily involved in their progress and success. We are very fortunate to have her as General Manager.”
