In an effort to identify those golfers who exemplify high levels of talent, Simon Funeral Home has established a recognition program, Golfer of the Quarter.

Golfers with similar skill ability compete once each quarter of the year (every three months) and the Golfer of the Quarter trophy is passed on to the winner.

Gene Bradley of Carthage, the third-quarter winner, continued his winning streak and obtained the fourth quarter win with a score of 83. The trophy will remain in Bradley’s possession until January, when he will defend it during first-quarter play of 2004. For his achievement, Bradley is now known as “The Man” among his golfing peers.
