Market Now Has Strawberries
Strawberries are the latest addition to the Moore County Farmers Market on Morganton Road in Southern Pines.
Taylor Williams, horticulture specialist with the Cooperative Extension Service, says strawberries will be available at the market Saturday for the first time this year.
In addition to regionally grown fruits and vegetables, the market has bedding plants, cut flowers and crafts for sale. The market is operated from the parking lot beside Armory Park and is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays
