I sincerely believe your headline of May 2 was a bit over the top (pardon the pun). “McWilliams Indicted on Seven Felonies”? $100? $160? My goodness, I was expecting to read of at least murder or grand theft. I don’t think I read a headline that forboding following the Peterson murder case in Durham.

Sir, being a law-abiding citizen to a fault, I do not “cotton” to criminal behavior, but you overdid it when your story did not meet the expectations of your headline.

This whole story smacks of revenge by Richard Morgan. No wonder people are afraid to admit they’re not going to vote for him.
