Solid Rock Christian School has eight children who will be promoted to the first grade next year. They are: Jacob Hofstetter, Diona Smith, Emma Cooper, Teara Harrington, Tanayah Cherry, Bridget Maxwell, Davon Gilmore and Jacob Pugsley.

Children graduating from K-4 to K-5 are: Donavan Utley, Jordan Taylor, Sarah Riggs, Cohan Wall, Savanna Brown McLaughlin and Christopher Wright. K-4 and K-5 uses the Abeka Phonics program to teach reading, writing and math.

Graduation will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, May 30, at the Roman Eagle Lodge #555 (Hwy 15-501, Aberdeen).
