The village of Pinehurst Parks and Recreation Department and the Pinehurst Garden Club have scheduled the annual spring planting day for Tuesday, May 6.

A variety of annuals will be planted around the downtown area of the village. Those interested in volunteering are asked to meet at the Christmas tree in downtown at 8:30 a.m..

Volunteers are asked to bring gloves and a trowel if you have one. The planting usually takes about two hours. The Parks and Recreation Department and the Garden Club have selected plant varieties that will require less watering.
