Piano Auditions Being Held Here
The National Guild of Piano Teacher’s Auditions are in progress at Sandhills Community College May 7-12. One hundred twenty-six students will perform for judge Annie Byrd McKee and will receive comments and ratings.

Students may play from one to 20 pieces with musicianship phases such as sight-reading and ear training. One student, Caroline Cox, will do an all Bach 15 piece program and will receive a plaque.
Teachers of these students are: Sue Aceves, Laureen Andrews, April Dyer, Lydia Gill, Kimberly Krebs, Dorothy V. McDonald, Katherine B. Reed, Josephine H. Snelling, Ruth S. Sinclair, and Norma Walter.
Ruth Sinclair is local chairman.
