The Sunset Theatre is located at 234 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. Admission is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children 12 and under. Thirty-five contestants auditioned for this opportunity, of whom 24 will be performing.

Returning as a special guest will be Greg Spurlin of Randleman, winner of the first Star Search competition. Spurlin will sing a number during the judging. Philip Shore will be the master of ceremonies. Sound will be provided by Monroe’s Music. Randolph Arts Guild is co-sponsor. Judges are Tammy O’Kelley and Stuart Bullock.
