The Millstone experience gives campers a chance to explore and find new areas of interest, develop character, build confidence and learn new skills while engaging in exciting activities in a natural setting.
Millstone 4-H Center provides youth with opportunities to go horseback riding among the pines, learn and practice shooting skills, hike beside the waterfall, canoe the lake in the midst of the forest, swim, make crafts, practice archery skills, and much, much more.
Two camp sessions are being offered for Moore County youth. Ages 8-12 will attend the session from June 26 to July 3. The cost is $260. Children ages 6 to 8 will attend Aug. 3 to Aug. 6 at a cost of $150.
For more information or to register, contact Linda Gore, 4-H Agent, at 947-3188 or stop by the Cooperative Extension office at 707 Pinehurst Avenue, Carthage.
