Dr. Glenn Miller and Dr. Larry Ellis, Village Chapel pastors, will speak on the biblical perspective of this much debated film. The forum is intended to inform and to give opportunity for questions, particularly from those who have seen the film and from those who are planning to see it.
The forum will be held at Chapel Hall at 7 p.m. as part of the Chapel’s Wednesday night supper. The public is invited for supper ($4 per person) at 5:45 p.m. Call 295-6003 to make reservations for the forum only, or for the supper and the forum.

“The Triplets of Belleville” is unusual fair, even for the Sunrise Theater, noted for its risk-taking in showing films perhaps not so normally seen in the Sandhills. “Triplets” is better known since the Oscars, however, where it took an Academy Award for best-animated film this year.
Although there are few words in the film (though there are interesting sound effects and music.), the language is spoken in French in English subtitles. The story is about Madame Sousa whose grandson Champion became a cycling prodigy. While Champion is competing in the Tour de France, he is abducted by the mafia, which makes grandma really angry. This film is rated PG-13, and pokes fun at stereotypes of both the French and North Americans.
Playing Saturday, March 27 and Sunday, March 28 at 4 or 7:30 p.m. and Monday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m. The movie is an hour and 22 minutes in length. Tickets are $7. The Sunrise Theater is located on 250 NW Broad Street, and concessions are available.
