Pinecrest Boys’ Tennis Team Opens Season By Beating Lee

The Pinecrest boys’ tennis team opened its season in convincing fashion with an 8-1 non-conference win at Lee County Tuesday.

“This was a good start for us,” Patriot coach Fairley Cameron said. “Due to a short practice season, we will continue to adjust positions and will be stronger as the season progresses.”

Pinecrest will play twice next week when it plays O’Neal at Sandhills Community College Tuesday and then entertains Lee County at home Wednesday.
