Andy Thomas' June 14 column publicized the upcoming Pinehurst July 4 celebration.

However, he forgot to mention one of the village's most popular Fourth of July events, the Moore County Concert Band concert.

Each year more than 1,000 music lovers attend this concert. This year it will be at 5 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Carolina Hotel.

We hope Andy will attend, enjoy and in the future include the concert in his pieces about Pinehurst celebrations of the Fourth.
