Jackson Plans Hoops Camp For July 29

The fourth annual Charles Jackson Hoops for Fun Basketball Clinic will be held at West Pine Middle School in West End on Saturday, July 29.

The clinic director is Charles Jackson, a former Pinecrest and North Carolina A&T basketball player.

He is currently the head basketball coach at Rockingham Community College in Reidsville.

Session I for boys and girls, ages 6-10 will run from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Session II for boys and girls, ages 11-14 runs from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.

The cost of the clinic is $20 per person. Each participant will receive a T-shirt and snacks. There will be door prizes, including a grand door prize of two mountain bikes, one female and one male.
