The Moore County Planning Department will continue its series of Area A small-area planning sessions Monday and Tuesday. The meeting schedule is Monday, June 5, from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at West End Elementary School; and Tuesday, June 6, from 10 until 11:30 a.m. at Jackson Springs Community Center.
The hours were incorrectly listed in an article appearing in the May 26 edition of The Pilot.
The Area A meetings are set up to introduce residents of the area to the small-area planning process and to learn the interest and concerns of residents. The initial meetings were held last week at West Pine Elementary School and Eagle Springs Fire Department.
Area A encompasses rural areas in and around West End, Seven Lakes, Eagle Springs and Jackson Springs.
It is the first of several small areas to be studied through this process. |
