Dancers, Maness Set to Perform

Dance Dynamics of Carthage and Barron Maness of Pinehurst will be performing on Saturday, June 3, at Union Pines High School. Students will perform their annual dance showcase beginning at 7 p.m.

Maness will be singing live to open the show as an advanced group, including owner and instructor, Lynn Stalls, performs a tap routine to "A Kick in the Head."

This is the second time Dance Dynamics has performed live with Maness.

Instructor Lynn Stalls, and the talented advanced student, Anna Murphy, performed live at the Barron Maness Concert held in Moore this year to three songs. They performed a tap duet, a lyrical duet, and a Latin-style jazz routine.

"It was a wonderful honor to perform with Barron," Stalls said. "We worked very hard and Barron is so talented and just a great singer, friend and performer. Barron has a wonderful CD out and the opener is the first song performed on his CD."

Other performers are the Dance Dynamics students, Tammy Purcell, Jennifer Thomas, and Paul and Sharon Murphy.

"We truly hope you can come and don't think you will regret it," said Stalls. "I believe it will be a great show and most enjoyable."
