On behalf of the Sandhills Food Bank Advisory Council, staff, and the over 100 agencies that it serves, I would like to thank Prom Management Group for their generous donation to the Food Bank after the U.S. Open.

This contribution is a fine example of community organizations working together to help serve each other’s needs. Andi Korte, executive director of Communities In Schools, also serves as a member on the Food Bank Advisory Council. It was through her connection with Carrie Mansun, staffing and personnel manager for Prom Management, that this opportunity was made possible. The Sandhills Food Bank sent two trucks on Monday morning to pick up over 5,600 pounds of much-needed food and dry goods.

The Sandhills Food Bank is a Branch of the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and serves over 100 agencies in the four-county area. The mission of the Food Bank is to serve those in need and to assure that no one goes hungry. We are grateful to all who helped to make this contribution from Prom possible. It was a wonderful end to a wonderful week!
