Congratulations to Jimmie Garner and Ralph Redmond being appointed to the trustee board at Sandhills Community College.

The Moore County school board that appointed Garner and the Moore County commissioners who appointed Redmond have shown great judgment in their selections. Both gentlemen have business backgrounds, and by sharing their expertise should be an asset not only to the trustee board but to Dr. John Dempsey also.

I wish the two new trustees the best in their tenure on the board. Their appointments prove fortunate for Sandhills and our community as well.
