Online Services People Find Realtor

A new online service hopes to make finding a Realtor easier for people looking to buy or sell a home in North Carolina.

NCHomes.com, a one-stop real estate resource, is geared toward simplifying the process of finding the top real estate agents in the state. By partnering with only five agents/companies in each of 34 markets, NCHomes offers a snapshot of leading Realtors throughout North Carolina and direct links to their Web sites, according to a news release.

In addition, NCHomes offers links to other real estate-related services that the purchase or sale of a home might involve including mortgage and insurance services, storage and home improvement.

“Our goal is to provide a service that makes the search for an agent easy and fast so that people can move on with buying the home of their dreams or selling their current one,” said Evans Wroten, owner and founder of NCHomes. “I think we’ve accomplished that.”

Unlike many directory-style Web sites, NCHomes offers a brief description of each participating agent or company. This allows NCHomes partners to include their credentials so that visitors to the site can qualify the agent or real estate company.

According to the National Association of Realtors, more than 71 percent of home buyers use the Internet to obtain real estate information.

“I’ve increased traffic to my Web site and made many valuable contacts by partnering with NCHomes,” said Sandra Henderson, a real estate broker in Raleigh. “This type of marketing is new in the real estate industry and offers real value for home buyers and for agents.”

Based in Winston-Salem, NCHomes.com seeks to be the premier resource for finding a Realtor in the state. By partnering with top agents and firms in each market along with moving-related companies, NC-Homes.com provides a convenient, one-stop resource for people buying or selling a home.
