New Century Middle School Principal Joan Frye recently announced her retirement from the Moore County school system after 32 years of service.

The faculty and staff of New Century will host a community reception Sunday, June 5, in the school’s media Center. The event will be from 3 to 5 p.m.

The public is invited to share in the opportunity to honor Frye and give best wishes for a happy retirement.

Frye was recently selected as the school system’s Administrator of the Year for 2004-2005.
