A varied slate of movies fill a long list of featured films for a month-long bundle aptly named the Summer SunFlix Series.

Films play each evening at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Saturday and Sunday shows also offer a 4 p.m. matinee. Tickets are available at the door of the Sunrise Theater in downtown Southern Pines. The theater phone line is (910) 692-3611. SunFlix generally presents special interest films that were not released previously in the area.
