The University of North Carolina at Wilmington announces the names of Moore Countians who received honors, awards or were named graduates for Spring 2002.

Elizabeth Prevatte Scepurek of Pinehurst received the Chancellor’s Achievement Award for the spring semester 2002 at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

To qualicfy for this award Scepurek completed at least 15 semester hours and had no grade lower than an A-.

Earning dean’s list distinction, having met the following criteria of 12-14 hours earned and a GPA of 3.4 or better with no grade less than B. , included Leanna Deese and Alysa Fogleman, both of Aberdeen, Jill Tucker, Jeffrey Wunsch, Elizabeth P. Scepurek, all of Pinehurst, Matthew Garner of Robbins, Sarah Graham of Seven Lakes, Annmarie Appollo Germaine Brandt, Justin Duffy, Lauren Emeigh, Tamara Gallo, Dan Milewski, Kristen Summerford all of Southern Pines, , Hunter Coore of Vass and Karina Cameron and Catharine Smith, both of Whispering Pines.
