Dr. Patrick Russo, superintendnent, Moore County Schools, was the keynote speaker for a seminar called “Innovations in Education” at Pinehurst Resort.

The event was sponsored by Cohort Members of the Fayetteville State Univeristy Interns of the MSA program in Educational Leadership.

The seminar was held in late April.

Annie Wimbish, assistant superintendent, also participated by speaking about the newly created Assistant Principal’s Leadership Academy, which she and Dr. Donna Peters, assistant superintent, facilitiate.

“The seminar was very enlightening and enjoyd by the assistant principal interns, FSU faculty and other invited guests,” a spokesman said.
