FSU Summer Music Program

The Department of Performing and Fine Arts at Fayetteville State University will sponsor a Summer Music Camp for the youth of Cumberland County and surrounding areas. The Summer Music Camp is a two-week program from July 5-13, on the campus of FSU.

Students will have the opportunity to reside on-campus or off-campus during these two weeks and participate in numerous musical experiences.

The program offers private lessons, small and large ensemble performance participation and is open to instrumental and vocal students at the junior high, middle school, and high school levels. An intense schedule of musical activities is available for all students who participate in this music camp.

The summer music program offers attractive activities that involve student attendance and participation in musical performances and encounters.

The program’s primary focus is to broaden and develop students’ awareness, appreciation, skill, and ability while advancing their mastery of musical concepts with rewarding musical training.
