ADK Beta Tau Awards Scholarships
Jennifer Lynn Maness has been awarded the Beta Tau Chapter Memorial Scholarship.
A North Moore High School graduate, Jennifer served as president of the Key Club and junior and senior classes. She was a Morehead nominee, Who’s Who Among American High School Students, Governor’s School finalist in drama, Quiz Bowl member, and received the Governor’s Award for Volunteer Services. Jennifer plans to attend UNC-Chapel Hill and major in communications.
Naequan Dante Jones was awarded the Personal Achievement Grant. Naequan is a Pinecrest High School graduate and was a Junior Marshal, Governor’s School nominee, Most Outstanding Spanish II student, and an International Winner of the 2001 Yearbook Excellence Contest. Dante plans to attend Wake Forest University and major in Mathematical Business.
Emily C. Pike received the Eloise and Leonard Whitesell Memorial Scholarship. A graduate of Pinecrest High School, she was a Governor’s School finalist in English. Who’s Who Among American High School Students, Governor’s Page, International Thespian Society member, S.A.D.D. President and vice president of the Student Government Association. Emily plans to attend Appalachian State University and major in journalism. |
