Nancy's Game meets regularly on Monday, 12:30 p.m. at the Elks, 280 Country Club Road, Southern Pines. The game is ACBL Sanctioned, non-smoking, with computer scoring and refreshments. This is the perfect place to play while taking lessons or if you have just completed a lesson series.

The atmosphere is friendly and new players are always made welcome. Come learn the mechanics of duplicate, make new friends and have a pleasant afternoon of bridge. Elks Duplicate

The Elks Club game is played every Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Elks Club, 280 Country Club Road, Southern Pines. Proceeds from this game support the Elks Youth Camp. For partners, call the Director, Dick Perry, 692-4757. Join us for a pleasant evening of bridge and help the kids! The game is ACBL sanctioned with computer scoring, refreshments. New players are always welcome.

Bridge Center

The Bridge Center is located on N.C. 5 about half way between Pinehurst and Aberdeen. To get there, turn on Ridgeline Road at the Air Specialties' time and temperature sign, and we are just around the curve at 197D.

Games are held every weekday at 1 pm. Sunday games start at 1:30 pm. There is not a game on Saturday.

Friday's game for Non-Life Masters (0 - 500) to appeal to the novice/intermediate player but night classes featuring the Audrey Grant or Easy Bridge systems can be arranged through Nancy Dressing (295-8871).

Starting Tuesday, July 2 at 1 p.m. a non-life-master game will be held. This game will be for players with less than 500 MP and are not life masters.

“This has been a very popular game and we invite all NLMs to join us for a fun afternoon of Bridge,” a spokesman says.

The Singles group will meet next on Friday, July 12. There will also be a game on July 4.
