The contractor seems to think that watering the parking lot is the objective. The control and timing of the sprinkler heads need adjustment to correct the problem.
I spoke to the manager of Panera about the problem, which he acknowledged, but he said he has been unable to get it taken care of. Apparently, the responsibility lies with the company that owns and manages the shopping center. They have been made aware of the problem, but won't do anything about it.
The problem is an extreme waste of water, and it needs to be taken care of. Maybe with the help of the news media, some good old-fashioned public leverage needs to be applied.
I just thought that you should know there are people out there that support the need for water conservation.
