Sandhills Animal Rescue League is holding a Save the Animals Benefit starting June 30 and every Friday and Saturday during July from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Woman's Exchange in Pinehurst. They will be receiving items for the sale on June 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Woman's Exchange and will continue to receive items in July on the days of the sale. Call 638-1921.
Pinebluff Lions Club is selling reverse raffle tickets. Only 300 will be sold. These funds help thecommunity with worthwhile endeavors such as: Assisting with feeding more than 150 families each month, eye exams, glasses, hearing aids, sponsoring participants at Camp Dogwood (for the legally blind) and a fishing tournament. The Friends of the Postmaster's House, Inc., a non-profit organization, have restored the Postmaster's House, the oldest house in downtown Aberdeen, located at 204 E. South Street.
