Directed by Pinecrest varsity coach Barbara Foxx, the camp will focus on individual skills in the morning session and combination drills, transition drills and team play in the afternoon.
The camp hours are 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. for the early session, and 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. for the afternoon session. The cost for campers attending only the morning sessions is $45, while the cost for attending all-day sessions is $100.
All camp participants will need to bring gym shoes, knee pads, white socks, a T-shirt, a towel and a water bottle.
In 26 years at Pinecrest, Foxx's volleyball teams have won over 500 matches, including 14 conference titles, two undefeated seasons of 33 wins each, and two state championships. Graduates from Pinecrest have gone on to play volleyball at Arizona, Fayetteville State, UNC, North Carolina A&T, North Carolina Central, UNC-Charlotte, UNC-Greensboro, Lenoir-Rhyne and Wingate.
