We thank all the hole sponsors, the merchants who donated prizes for the raffle, radio stations WIOZ and WEEB, TV station WBYE, The Pilot, Toby Wells Buick, and all the people who played in the tournament.
Also, thanks to all the volunteers and members who worked so hard to make this golf tournament the success that it was.
The raffle and golf tournament are our only fund raisers to support our programs to aid the handicapped children and adults.
Computers were purchased for Moore County schools for use in the self-contained classes for the handicapped students and for the Sandhills Children’s Center.
Each year’s proceeds allow us to hold our Elks Fun Day for all the handicapped students in the Moore County schools, provide assistance to the Sandhills Children’s Center, ARC of Moore County, and our Sara Wing Teacher’s Grant Program to assist the teachers in the special education programs.
