This delightful musical-comedy, based on the comic strip “Peanuts,” gives those watching an average day in the life of Charlie Brown.
It is a day made up of little moments picked from all the days of Charlie Brown, from school reports to the baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair, all mixed in with the lives of his friends (both human and non-human) and strung together on the string of a single day, from bright uncertain morning to hopeful starlit evening.
Cast members have spent two weeks of intensive full-day preparation for this production that is appropriate for all ages.
“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” will be presented at 7 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. Saturday at Aberdeen Elementary School, 503 N. Sandhills Boulevard, Aberdeen.
Tickets are $3 for ACMC and SLT members and $5 for non-members, and are available at the door prior to each show. For more information, call the Arts Council at 692-4356.
