The 60th annual Pinehurst Junior Tennis Classic, a USTA-sanctioned event, will be held July 15-18 with player from all over the state entering to play.
There is still time to register, but the deadline is July 8. The fee is $22 (USTA membership is required) and all players receive a tournament T-shirt, lunch and dinner on the first day of the tournament and a tennis clinic during the event.
To pick up a registration form, or to get more information, stop by or call the Southern Pines Recreation and Parks Department (692-2463), the Pinehurst Parks and Recreation Department (295-2817), or any of the tennis centers in the area.
