The league is looking for players who are interested in participating in a slightly higher and more competitive division. Tryouts will be held at the Morganton Road Soccer Complex on Wednesday, July 23, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. There is a $10 tryout fee to be paid at the field the day of tryouts at Registration. The tryouts are for:
n Challenge tryouts, U15 Girls Sandhills Spirit, are open to all girls born between Aug. 1, 1988 and July 31, 1989.
n Classic Tryouts, U12 Boys Sandhills Arsenal, are open to all boys born between August 1, 1991 and July 31, 1992.
n Classic Tryouts, U14 Boys Sandhills Lightning, are open to all boys born between August 1, 1989 and July 31, 1990. This is a first division team looking for players.
